We can treat a range of fibres

We dye both natural and synthetic yarns and fibres to unique colour options. Our dyeing range includes wool, silk, cotton, nylon, acrylic, viscose, polyester, flax, hemp, cashmere and fine lambs wool.

Acrylic is dyed with basic dyes, while nylon and protein yarns and fibres such as wool and silk are dyed with acid dyes and polyester is dyed with disperse dyes. Natural cotton is dyed with a range of dye types, including vat dyes, modern synthetic reactive and direct dyes.

Wool

A 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable fibre that holds dye well while retaining all its natural properties.

Silk

Silk is a unique natural fibre that dyes well and is fantastic for bright colours as well as subtle hues.

Cotton

A soft staple fibre that is consistent in its reaction to dyeing and treatments.

Nylon

A manmade thermoplastic material that is melt-processed into fibres. Dyes well and is used in a vast range of end products.

Acrylic

A polymer manmade fibre that is soft and flexible accepting of most dyes and treatments.

Viscose

A regenerated cellulose fibre that is similar to cotton in structure. Often cellulose is produced from plants such as soy, bamboo etc.

Polyester

Manmade polyesters are often combined with natural fibres and are perfectly suited to all types of dyeing and treatments.

Flax

This natural occurring fibre is lustrous and flexible and is stronger than cotton and ideal for all processing.

Hemp

Is a bast fibre from a natural hemp plant. It is versatile and is in demand due to ease of growth and low impact on the environment.

Cashmere

Often from cashmere goats or pashmina goats, this is fibre is often classed as the king of all fibres. Care is required when processing.

Lambs wool

From the first shearing of a sheep, lambs wool is the finest and shortest. Processing techniques are the same as standard wool.

Horse Hair

An extremely durable and tough natural fibre that is used for fillings in beds and furniture. We scour this material so that it can be used in these products.

Our team are experts in their field, with a wealth of skills and knowledge. We can ensure we provide the best yarn and fibre dyeing outcomes.

We combine all our research and development with a commitment to reducing our impact on the environment
